Articles are received, for publication, in one of the official languages of the Institute: French, English or Spanish. Summaries of the articles on central themes are subsequently published in the three languages to facilitate reading.
For us, it is important to keep in mind the standards of a scientific publication, especially: respect for sources, using citations correctly and bibliographic references; clear writing, using the resources proper to each language; language that is pertinent to the theme under discussion, with sustainable and justifiable definitions.
Those who wish to collaborate in the content of the Journal are asked: to work in Word format, A4 size paper, double spacing, size 11 Times New Roman font, with no special formatting nor tabs. If there are illustrations (drawings, figures or graphics) they should be placed on a separate page, with indications in the text where these illustrations are to be placed.
Collaborations should be sent by e-mail to: digitaljournal@lasalle.org, accompanied by a brief Curriculum Vitae of the author.
Some items that should be kept in mind concerning APA norms (cf. 2009 version):
APA norms contain standards for the presentations of citations and bibliographical references that are to be used in a scientific manuscript. We would be grateful if you would keep these in mind in order to preserve the material produced from any omission that could be interpreted as plagiarism.
It would be appreciated if bibliographical citations would be located within the text itself, so that the material taken from sources used by the author can be correctly identified; likewise, complete bibliographic data of the sources used should appear in the bibliographic reference listing at the end of the document, always in alphabetical order.
Particular attention should be paid when citing a source, whether it be from a text or a reference, the author’s data should be provided and the year of publication; in the case of a textual citation, the page number should also be indicated or the paragraph number where it appears.
Omissions of many materials that appear on the Internet has led to determine some criteria for citing textual sources; concretely, if the material used does not have any page number, it is indispensable to indicate the title of the headline and to point out the paragraph number where such information can be found.
