General Presentation

The Digital Journal of Lasallian Research is an on line publication which appears every six months on the web site of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The objective of this journal is to make available research articles, essays, documents, book reviews and events for Lasallians and, in general, for all those who are committed to the human and Christian education of children, young people and adults around the world.

Since it is a tool that came into being in the Lasallian world, it focuses on all those topics that have to do with pedagogical reflection, educational activity, the pastoral ministry of leadership, teacher training, Lasallian thought from the origins and, in general, all the perspectives that might help to broaden the vision of what it means today to educate from a horizon of Christian values and, especially, in the Lasallian way.

Just as John Baptist de La Salle and the first Brothers reflected together on consolidating the work of the schools, we also want to put into a common pool our concerns in order to promote discussion and, above all, to promote educational activity that is more and more coherent with the demands of world that is changing. This Journal is a tool for this type of search.

One Response to General Presentation
